New businesses to test the market with pop-up shops

With the UK economy finally picking up speed again, entrepreneurs are beginning to surface with a host of business ideas up their sleeves.

But rather than dive straight in, a third of new start-ups are testing their products on the market with ‘pop-up’ shops.

A pop-up shop being any retail outlet that is temporary, from market stalls to burger vans. There’s a growing trend with food and drink offerings as well as arts and crafts and jewellery.

“Pop-ups have become a tried and tested business strategy”

said EE’s director of small business, Mike Tomlinson.

Once the products have been tested on the market and the offerings honed, the business will then go full steam ahead.

A sensible strategy as well as being ever more popular with the general public, who are becoming more interested in unique products and street food offerings.

Here at Business Juice, we fully support any start-ups and new businesses and we’ll be waiting to help you out with any business energy queries should you want to keep costs low. Give us a call on 0800 051 5770.
