In our Business Energy Barometer survey we asked businesses if they disagreed or disagreed with the following statement:
“I’d like to do something about my business energy bills, but it’s so confusing that I don’t know where to start.”
Overall, 26% of businesses said that they agree, and the figure is even higher among small and medium businesses; almost a third of them said that energy was confusing.
So is business energy is just too confusing?
If over a quarter of businesses find energy so confusing that they can’t do something about their bills then there’s definitely a problem.
If businesses are confused then there’s a good chance that they won’t be getting a great deal, and with rising prices, energy bills are more of a financial burden than they used to be.
The good news? The market may be confusing at times, particularly if it’s new to you, but any business can get to grips with it with a little time and the right help.
